Some citizens said that it took four hours to drive from north to south yesterday to pass the 20-kilometer section before and after Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, with an average of only 10 kilometers per hour.
The peak situation of Wuxi section of Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway is slightly different from that of Xicheng Expressway. On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, the daily traffic is 100,000 vehicles; It rose to 132,000 vehicles on the second day of the year; There was a peak on the third day of the year, reaching 159,000 vehicles; On the fourth day of the year, it continued to increase to 186,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 16.2%. It is estimated that it will still run at a high level on the fifth day of the first year, around 190,000 vehicles, but the highest peak does not exceed 200,000 vehicles per day before the festival.
