The inspector team rushed to the scene and found that the complaints of the masses were true.

However, for such environmental problems, Beihai City gave a verification reply that "the procedures were complete, all pollutants were discharged up to standard, and the people reported untrue". The Central Environmental Protection Inspector Group believes that Beihai City has not touched the real thing, the supervision and management are formalized, and the inspector’s rectification has gone through the motions, which has been severely criticized.
