At 18: 00 on January 1, 2022, the CDC of Chun ‘an County received a notice from the superior and found that a batch of fresh pitaya imported from Vietnam was positive for nucleic acid detection, and the same batch of fruits partially flowed into our county. Our county conducted an epidemiological investigation at the first time, and carried out nucleic acid detection on relevant personnel, places and environment. By 12: 00 on January 2, 12 samples of pitaya in and out of Chunan Shiji Hualian Supermarket (Wancheng Plaza Store, 2nd Floor, Building 2-1, Building 6) and Chunyan Zhengyuan Fruit Co., Ltd. (No.183-184, Sunshine Road, Baiguoyuan) were found to be positive for nucleic acid detection, while the other 38 samples were negative. Samples from Chun ‘an Yanli Fruit Wholesale Firm (No.96-98 Xin ‘an East Road) are being tested.

　　Chun’ an County Epidemic Prevention and Control Office immediately sealed and killed the above fruit shops, investigated and disposed of the sales of epidemic-related pitaya and the contact personnel, sealed the unsold imported pitaya, and conducted nucleic acid detection and control on the direct contact personnel. The results were all negative.

　　Please stop eating pitaya immediately and avoid contact, and report to Chun ‘an County Epidemic Prevention and Control Office or Chun ‘an County CDC. Other people who may come into contact should report to their village (community), unit or hotel as soon as possible, and cooperate with the implementation of prevention and control measures such as nucleic acid detection and health management.
